Conventional load cells are normally made in a few fixed load ratings, such as 500 or 1,000 lbs. Now, due to a new proprietary design, we can tailor a small load cell to your specific load rating, and deliver maximum voltage output at that load. This gives the user freedom to specify the load range rather than accept a standard catalog value.
These load cells are compact units designed to fit and the small spaces. They are full bridge strain gage designs, and will produce approximately 4mv/v output at rated load. The compression models can be furnished with threaded studs on one end for easy attachment, while the tensions/compression models use threaded rods on both ends, so that they can serve in tension, compression or as a universal cell without changing fixtures. Dimensions are given in the sketches below.
